Pool Rules
Rules for use of the Pools and Cabana Area at
The Palms at Amelia
Enclosed Gate Area (pool - hot tub - kitchen cabana area) hours are 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM year-round.
- Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult 18 years or older.
- No Diving, back flips or belly flops.
- No running anywhere around the pool, especially not into the water.
- No glass containers of any type.
- No smoking.
- No alcohol.
- All food and drinks must be kept 6 feet away from the edge of pool.
- Children who still wear diapers must have waterproof swim diaper.
- No floatation devices except life jackets, noodles, arm floats, and baby seats (must have parent in the water).
- No Pets, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters or golf carts inside the pool gate.
- No changing of clothes or diapers on pool deck.
- A resident can only bring 4 guests at a time. You must be 18 or older to bring guests.
- Foul language will not be tolerated. You will be warned once and then asked to leave for the day.
- No throwing hard balls such as tennis or football. Soft sponge balls are permitted.
- Radios must be kept at very low levels or used with ear phones.
- Everyone who is swimming must wear a swim suit, no street clothes.
- No boogie boards or surfboards.
- If any patron does not follow the rules, they will be given two warnings and then they have to leave the swimming pool.
- Be sure to leave the Pool/Kitchen area clean when you leave.
